The new Kia Ceed has a version with proportions Shooting BrakeOctober 2, 2018
Kia has introduced a new version of the third-generation Ceed model, called Proceed. The premiere of the novelties with a body with the proportions of Shooting Brake took place at the Paris Motor Show.
The overall length of the new Kia Proceed was 4,604 mm and its height was 1,422 mm, which is 5 mm longer and 43 mm lower than the standard Sportwagon wagon, respectively. The size of the wheel remained the same – 2650 millimeters. Ground clearance decreased by 5 millimeters.
The luggage compartment volume was 594 liters, which is 29 liters less than that of a regular station wagon. The back row of seats can be folded in the proportion of 40:20:20.

The lineup of the new Kia Proceed engines included gasoline engines of 1.0 and 1.4 liters, developing 120 and 140 hp. respectively. In addition, a 136 hp 1.6-liter diesel engine is available. The top version with the GT index received a 1.6-liter supercharged gasoline unit, issuing 204 hp. and 265 Nm of torque. The transmissions are six-speed manual or seven-speed robotized transmission with two clutches.
At the moment, sales of the standard third-generation Kia Ceed hatchback have started. The model is offered by a 1.4-liter 100-horsepower unit, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox, and a 1.6-liter engine producing 128 hp and combined with both mechanics and automatic . The top engine is a 140-horsepower 1.4-liter “turbo-four”, working together with a seven-speed robotized transmission with two clutches.
