The new Jaguar F-Type will debut on December 2November 26, 2019
The gala event will be held in collaboration with Hot Wheels, as the new teaser clearly hints at.
Details of future new products are kept secret, but the rumor about the engine from BMW has not been confirmed. Jaguar press service has published the first video teaser of the updated Jaguar F-Type 2021 model year. The sports coupe and convertible will be presented on December 2, 2019. In addition, it can be seen from the video source that the presentation will be organized in collaboration with Hot Wheels. The car will probably perform some kind of extreme stunts, as it was with the Jaguar E-Pace two years ago and with the Jaguar F-Pace in 2015.
Many experts believed that the new F-Type could get a 4.4-liter V8 biturbo from the Bavarian campaign, but BMW did not confirm the assumption. The previous Jaguar Land Rover 5.0-liter V8 engine will remain in place. The main upgrade will be a hybrid unit with a new in-line six-cylinder engine from JLR. Details have not yet been announced. It also remains unknown whether the brand will leave a manual gearbox in the lineup.
Judging by the previously submitted spy photos, the appearance of the Jaguar F-Type 2021 model year will receive quite large design changes, but they will be evolutionary. Therefore, the model will remain fully recognizable on the road.
Unlike the previous version, a new hood, LED optics, as well as a radiator grill and a bumper will appear. Of course, there were changes in the design of the rear, where a new bumper and modified taillights also appeared. Sales of the Jaguar F-Type will begin immediately in the back of a coupe and convertible in 2020, but the cost has not yet been announced.
