The new Hyundai Rimac will be a quarter tougher than the Bugatti ChironMarch 5, 2018
The units of the new electric hypercar of the company Rimac, premiered at the Geneva Motor Show, will produce 1,914 horsepower. Thus, the Croatian car will turn out to be almost a quarter more powerful than the 1500-strong Bugatti Chiron.
Dynamic characteristics are not called yet. At the same time, the developers noted that the new hypercard will turn out to be faster and more comfortable than the only current model of Rimac – Concept One. In addition, the novelty is fed a more capacious battery pack, which will increase the supply margin.
Rimac Concept One was first shown in 2011 and has since been upgraded several times. The latest version of HyperCar is equipped with four electric motors, which in total develop 1240 hp and 1600 Nm of torque. The Rimac Concept One can accelerate from 100 km / h in 2.5 seconds.
At the moment, Rimac has released 10 copies of the Concept One – eight road and two tracks (Concept S). The cost of the car is about one million dollars.
