The new Honda Breeze crossover sells better than the KIA SportageJune 18, 2020
The mid-size Honda Breeze cross appeared on sale in November last year. In China, one of its main rivals was the KIA Sportage. In May, this model showed a new sales record, overtaking the Korean crossover.
In May, the Honda Breeze crossover in China sold 12,000 copies. Its competitor KIA Sportage could boast a much lower result – 9,000 cars sold. In general, the Breeze is a converted analogue of the next-generation popular Honda CR-V, however, outwardly these SUVs are different.
A new radiator grille was created for Breeze, the cross also received recycled bumpers, a redone hood, other head optics and spectacular rear LED lights, interconnected by a plastic lining. In addition, Breeze is 47 mm longer than its “donor” – this parameter here rises to a mark of 4,634 mm.
The engine range of the Honda Breeze includes a one and a half liter 193-horsepower turbo engine, as well as a hybrid. The latter consists of a two-liter “aspirated” and a pair of electric engines with a total capacity of 215 “horses”. Such a power plant is combined with a CVT.
The turbocharged motor works in conjunction with a 6MKPP or CVT. The basic cross – front-wheel drive, for an additional fee, you can become owners of all-wheel drive cars. The cross is richly equipped, and its minimum price tag is 168,900 yuan. In the same price range is the most affordable Honda CR-V. The maximum price tag reaches 252,800 yuan
