According to rumors, the American brand can present at special event the top version of a new generation pickup truck – Denali.

The American automobile concern General Motors can present the new generation of the pickup truck GMC Sierra on March 1 of this year in Detroit. The public will be able to see it at the international motor show in New York. This is reported by the publication Automotive News.

Chevrolet Silverado 2019 with the same platform was already presented in mid-January at the exhibition in Detroit. Therefore, we should expect the nearest premiere of GMC Sierra, which is expected to have its own exterior and interior design.

The engine range will be similar to the Silverado 2019. Only six engines will be offered, including a new six-cylinder 3.6-liter turbo diesel. The standard engines will be V8 volume of 5.3 and 6.2 liters with an intelligent control system for the operation of the cylinders. It will be able to turn off “any number of cylinders” to save fuel depending on the load. Gasoline engines will work with a new 10-speed automatic transmission.

A new pickup of GMC Sierra will begin to be produced from the fall of this year at one plant with the Chevrolet Silverado in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Deliveries to the first customers will take place before the end of the year.
