The new generation of the crossover Renault Kadjar will receive hybrid enginesMay 1, 2020
At the same time, the second generation SUV will retain gasoline and diesel engines. The appearance of new items is expected next year.
With the change of generation, the compact Renault Kadjar crossover will receive an expanded line of engines, as well as offer customers a new level of comfort and technology. It has been present in the SUV market since 2015, and last year the manufacturer updated the model a bit. Recall, Renault Kadjar is considered one of the most popular family crossovers in Europe. The exterior of the new product will largely repeat the appearance of the current models of the brand, but it will not do without the original details.
When decorating, the manufacturer uses better materials, providing for luxurious options. The appearance of special interior lighting and a large touch screen is also announced.
The novelty will be based on the modular platform CMF-C. The same “truck”, by the way, will receive the generation replacing Nissan Qashqai and Mitsubishi Outlander, whose debut is also scheduled for the 2021st. The motor range familiar to compact cross-country will be supplemented by the so-called plug-in and “moderate” hybrids. The new power plant may include a 1.6-liter gasoline engine and electric motor. Its total output will reach 160 hp. The debut of the new Renault Kadjar is expected to be organized in the second half of the year 2021, and by the end of the year it will have to appear on sale.
