Already in summer, the updated crossover model should go on sale. Now Genral Motors officially presented the model in live photos. The model is based on the bestseller in the Chinese market Baojun 530.

For many, it is no secret that General Motors has not focused exclusively on the North American market for a long time. The American concern is actively engaged in emerging markets and works closely with Chinese concerns. So, in the summer of this year, the new generation of the Chevrolet Captiva crossover, built on the basis of the Chinese model Baojun 530, will enter the market.

It is worth noting that the American model received minimal changes from the Chinese donor. The dimensions of the new generation Captiva and Baojun 530 are completely identical: the model length is 4,655 mm, the width is 1,835 mm, the height is 1,760 mm, and the wheelbase is 2 750 mm. The SUV will be available in 5- and 7-seater performance. The interior also has not changed except for the new icon on the steering wheel.[IP]&ua=[UA]&domain=[DOMAIN]&page=[PAGE]&secure=[SECURE]&language=[BROWSER_LANGUAGE]&bidfloor=[BIDFLOOR]&gdpr_consent=[GDPR_CONSENT]

As the power unit will be used without alternative 1.5-liter turbo engine, capable of developing up to 147 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. Together with him will work manual transmission or CVT.

The new version of the Chevrolet Captiva will be presented in the summer of this year, but sales are still expected only in some countries of South America. The cost is not yet known.
