The new Ford Explorer slowly takes off camouflage.December 5, 2018
The American brand Ford continues to test the updated version of its mid-size crossover Explorer. A couple of days ago, our automobile edition wrote about the new prototype seen.
A new batch of “spy” images (in the main photo) appeared at the disposal of our automotive version a few minutes ago.
It is reported that this time, the 2020 model crossover, was seen on the roads of Michigan (USA). We want to draw your attention to the Platinum badge, which is located on the back of the crossover – it is located on the left side below. This means that the observed version of the car will be different from all the usual versions of Ford Explorer – apparently it will receive improved finishing materials, an extended list of options and a correspondingly higher price tag.
Comparing the pictures that we published a couple of days ago with new ones, we noticed that the Platinum version of the crossover has a slightly different false radiator grille than the XLT version. Also differs front bumper – in the expensive version, it looks more aggressive.
In the profile, the two versions of the Ford Explorer are almost identical – the wheels on the Platinum version look better. In the back of the new version of the crossover appeared twin exhaust pipes.
There are no pictures of the salon of the American novelty yet. But it is known that the debut of the new Ford Explorer is scheduled for next year. Perhaps the show will be held at the Detroit Auto Show (USA) in January 2019.
