The new crossover Toyota Fortuner will go globalJuly 27, 2020
Thailand was the first market for the model. However, after the car was noticed on road tests in other countries, it became clear that the geography of its sales would expand.
Toyota recently unveiled its updated Fortuner crossover, after which the novelty arrived at the brand’s dealers in Thailand. Now it became clear that the car will be sold in other countries and will become global. The new Fortuner was seen on test trials in India, and a little earlier it was caught by spy cameras in Indonesia.
Externally, the updated Fortuner received significant changes – it got a new radiator grill, as well as other bumpers and front optics with LED filling. Also, Toyota Fortuner was equipped with new taillights, which are connected by a chrome strip.
At the moment, one version of the power plant is available for the crossover – a 2.8-liter diesel engine with a return of 204 hp became it. The engine works in tandem with 6 automatic transmissions.
From the technical equipment, we note the presence of a three-zone climate control, a new multimedia system, an all-round camera and a collision avoidance system.
In Thailand, 1,319,000 baht are asked for a new Fortuner.
