The new Citroen C4 Cactus will get an electric version by 2020November 18, 2018
The French company Citroen plans to electrify its C4 Cactus hatchback. Electric Cactus will be released in 2020.
Instead of the old PF1 platform, the model will receive the new PSA Group (CMP) compact modular platform, which will also be used in the next Peugeot 208 and Vauxhall Corsa.
Citroen Marketing and Communications Director Arnaud Belloni has confirmed that the C4 Cactus will be the first electric model to be released by the brand since the release of the C-Zero electric car.
Other details of the updated model has not been disclosed. Most likely, the concept CXperience, shown in 2016 at the Paris Motor Show, will be taken as the basis. However, it is possible that the car will have a completely different design, but we can only see it in 2020. Mass replenishment of the Citroen model line is scheduled for 2025.
