The American automotive concern General Motors intends to present its brand new Chevrolet Silverado trucks from the 4th and 5th class chassis at the International Work Show on March 6 in Indianapolis.
Two new models of the Silverado 4500HD and 5500HD will be available in both single and double crew cab cabs with 2WD and 4WD transmission versions. In production, these new items should go at the end of this year.
Under the hood of the trucks will be a turbo diesel company Duramax, which will work in tandem with the automatic transmission Allison. For the driver and passengers will be available infotainment systems OnStar with Wi-Fi and 4G LTE modules for access to the Internet.
“The Silverado 4500HD and 5500HD trucks are the flagships of our portfolio of fully functional commercial trucks, and we designed them to be among the best in the segment for many factors, such as maneuverability, serviceability, visibility, peace and comfort, saving diesel fuel,” – said GM Fleet Vice President Ed Peper.
