The new Chevrolet Corvette has different exterior mirrorsAugust 25, 2019
In addition to the first-ever mid-engined model, the new-generation Corvette surprised fans with another curious detail: it has different mirrors.
Not a single detail can escape the true Corvette fans: CorvetteBlogger, a site dedicated to the iconic American supercar, published disturbing news: the left and right exterior mirrors of Corvette are quite noticeably different in size from each other. To make sure of this, the guys came to the presentation of the car at the official dealer of the brand in Atlantic City and took a tape measure with them.
It turned out that the passenger mirror is really longer than the left – by five centimeters. However, there is a rather simple explanation for this. Wide rear fenders significantly impair visibility, so the Chevrolet had to push the right mirror to the side to make it as functional for the driver as the left. The length of the Corvette is 4630 millimeters, the width is 1934, the height is 1234 millimeters, and the wheelbase reaches 2722 millimeters.
