MINI is preparing to release the top version of the hot hatch John Cooper Works GP. It is assumed that the flagship line will be limited to 3,000 copies, but the cost is still unknown. At the moment, the company conducts extensive tests on the speed track, passing the final revision and configuration.

The 2020 Mini JCW GP will also be the most powerful and fastest model of the company. As the power unit will be used 2.0-liter turbo engine, capable of developing up to 300 horsepower. In addition to the new body kit, the car will receive wide wheels, large alloy wheels, as well as carbon fiber body parts and sports seats made of composite materials.
While MINI does not report the exact date of the presentation and the start of sales. Also unknown is the cost of a hot hatch. The sale is expected to start at the end of this year.
In the meantime, Mini announced the release of a sports electric hatchback. The future new product is already tipped the title of the flagship in the model range of the British automotive brand.
