The new budget crossover Renault noticed in test trialsJune 10, 2020
We are talking about the Kiger model, the official debut of which will take place very soon.
Renault is in the final stages of testing the new budget crossover Kiger. On Wednesday, June 10, photos of the car in a layer of camouflage film appeared on the Web. As a platform for the new compact cross, CMF-A is used, which is also known by the Renault Triber compact van. In the front of the car, first of all, optics pay attention to themselves. Headlamps are made on LED-matrices, a similar performance we saw in the Renault Symbioz concept car, which was shown in 2017.
Also note the DRL of an interesting C-shape. The car interior should be similar to the Triber model, however, obvious differences can also be found. The developers have already announced a redesigned front panel and updated multimedia with a soaring effect. Some technical details are already known.
A 1.0-liter turbo engine capable of delivering 95 horsepower will be used as a power plant on a non-alternative basis. It will work together with a 5MKPP or a robotic gearbox, depending on the selected configuration.
All-wheel drive systems will not even be an option. It is expected that the car will go on sale in the second half of 2020.
