The new BMW Z4: the first official picturesAugust 16, 2018
At the disposal of the edition of Autoevolution were the first official photos of the roadster BMW Z4 of the new generation. The public premiere of the car should take place before the end of 2018.
As expected, the production car as a whole turned out similar to the eponymous concept car, presented last summer. On the photos you can see large wheels, blue brake calipers, rectangular-shaped exhaust pipes, and an aggressive body kit.
As for the interior, the BMW Z4 will receive a completely new all-digital dashboard integrated into the center console, a touchscreen display of the multimedia complex, and a wireless charging station for mobile gadgets.

The BMW Z4 roadster will share the chassis with the new Toyota sports car, for which the name Supra will be revived. German and Japanese engineers are jointly developing a platform for a sports car since 2014.
The line of engines will include a three-liter in-line supercharged six cylinder, the output of which, depending on the market and the modification will vary from 350 to 390 horsepower. In addition, a two-liter “turbo-four” with a capacity of 200 to about 300 forces will be available.
