The new flagship coupe-like crossover can be finalized in M Performance. While it comes to one special modification.
Today there was information that the new BMW X8 coupe-like crossover could get a hybrid version. The novelty will be built on the basis of the brand’s largest crossover – the X7 model and will receive the X8 M45e index. According to the BMW Blog portal, the basis for the power plant will be a turbocharged V6 gasoline engine. In the model range of the brand there are already cars with such an engine, however, something special is being prepared for the X8. Developers are going to increase the power of the electrical component. For this purpose, the car will be equipped with a battery with a larger capacity. Insiders report that between the X7 and X8 models there will be much less in common than between the younger X5 and X6.
Some details about the exterior of the BMW X8 are already known – the car should receive a new original front design.
We are talking about a new design of the head optics, grille and bumper. You should not wait for the model to enter the market soon – the first pre-production cars will appear either at the end of next year, or already in 2021.
