The new BMW M5 received up to 800 horses from G-PowerSeptember 17, 2018
Despite the fact that personally your ideal BMW M5 F90 may differ from the variant offered by G-Power – the novelty deserves attention.
Already on Stage 1 of the G-Power, a standard bi-turbo engine receives an additional 100 horses and 90 Nm of torque. This raises its “base” power to a level of 700 hp and 840 Nm of torque. This is achieved thanks to the proprietary electronic control unit Performance Module V1.
Recall that the module from the G-Power is easy to install, and partially replaces the regular ECU. And his work is based on loyalty to the engine, so it will not be possible to overheat or go beyond the warranty framework. Installation and dismantling takes very little time.
Stage 2 includes an even more aggressive version of the firmware, which was called Performance V2. But the motor will be supplemented by more efficient turbines. This will allow the powerful sedan to develop up to 740 horsepower and 920 Nm of torque.
But the “cherry” at the top of the cake is the top version of the package of modifications, which will be supplemented with a titanium 100 mm exhaust system with four muffler sockets. In addition to the new “deep” sound of the work, the owner will receive 800 horsepower and 980 Nm of torque.
According to the representative of the tuning studio – the modified BMW M5 from G-Power can accelerate to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds in the top version of the revision. And the maximum speed will reach the mark of 335 km / h. For comparison, the basic version of the M5 with the M Drive option package can accelerate to 100 km / h in 3.4 seconds, and the maximum speed is “only” 305 km / h.
In addition to refinement of the power unit, the car also receives a new body kit made of carbon fiber, and, of course, branded alloy wheels 21 inches.
Unfortunately, the cost of tuning has not yet been reported. Apparently, details about the prices will be discussed personally with each client.
