The new BMW M5 photographed in winter testsFebruary 20, 2020
Fresh spy photos of the updated BMW M5 sedan leaked to the Network, which will debut as a 2021 model.
BMW continues to work on a restyled BMW M5, whose debut may take place this year. In the meantime, the sedan continues to pass the required tests. During one of these races, photo spies caught a novelty. Cars in the photo still retain camouflage, but it is already noticeably smaller than in earlier spy shots. We see the modified front of the Bavarian sedan, which is likely to get a new grille. Also, the novelty got elegant thin headlights with new LED DRLs.
The protective film does not interfere with other air intakes. But the feed of the car was not exposed so much – masking prevents us from seeing the details. Apparently, the manufacturer has prepared for his updated sedan a new bumper and modified taillights with new graphics, whose design is so far kept secret.
Photo spies could not look into the interior of the car. According to experts, he can borrow a lot from the updated 5-series.
About the motor range, too, no information. Recall, the current M5 is equipped with a 4.4-liter 591-horsepower V8 twin-turbo engine. The M5 Competition update is also expected – here we are talking about a capacity of 617 horsepower. The first BMW will present the updated 5 Series, the next in line is the restyled BMW M5.
