The new BMW M3 showed huge nostrilsMarch 4, 2020
The new generation of the Bavarian sedan was partially declassified before the official debut.
A curious shot of the next generation BMW M3 sedan appeared on the Web. The photo is shared by the Bimmerpost portal. The picture shows us, perhaps, one of the most spectacular details of the exterior of the new item – a huge grille with a pair of giant elongated nostrils. We observed a massive radiator grille in spy photos, however, in those pictures, camouflage slightly distorted the true scale. The grille of the new BMW M3 surpassed even the 4 Series coupe in size.
A small point between the two nostrils of the sedan, which is clearly visible in the photo, is the front-facing all-round camera.
Recall, last fall, the rear of the new BMW M3 also ceased to be a secret. The sedan retained its proprietary wheel arches, four exhaust pipes, a diffuser and a neat spoiler.
As for the technical stuffing, back in 2019, the head of the BMW M division, Markus Flash, announced that the M3 sedan and M4 coupe would get a new 3-liter “turbo six” S58. It can be found in the 510-horsepower crossovers X3 M and X4 M. The motor can work in conjunction with 6-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive system or with 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. There is no specific information on the date of the public premiere of M3 and M4.
