The network showed the updated Hyundai Santa FeJanuary 26, 2020
The car was hidden by a large layer of camouflage, but the main features have already been considered.
On the eve of the photo spies managed to take pictures of the updated Hyundai Santa Fe crossover. The car was spotted in one of the parking lots during test trials. Through a dense layer of camouflage, it was possible to consider completely new headlights for this model. Their design is somewhat reminiscent of the shape of the headlights of the Palisade model, however they are larger and equipped with T-LED DRL lamps. Earlier we said that the new Santa Fe can also take over some technologies from Palisade – in particular, shift-by-wire technology is used instead of the standard gear lever. Hyundai Santa Fe is a strategic model for the brand, as it accounts for more than 50% of SUV sales.
It is already known that the car will receive a completely new platform, which will allow not only to change the design, but also to use variations with the classic ICE, hybrid and plug-in hybrid.
It is expected that the hybrid engine will be based on the 1.6-liter T-GDI gasoline engine and electric motor. Due to the large size of the car, you can install a battery with a large capacity, which will significantly save fuel.
Earlier it became known that Hyundai is preparing a compact and ultra-budget crossover for the car market in India.
