The network showed images of the new crossover Honda HR-VJuly 5, 2020
Compared with the current version, the car can become larger, sportier, and also get an increase in power.
Honda introduced the compact crossover HR-V in the U.S. back in 2015. The model has already survived more than half the life cycle, so the update should wait for her very soon. Designers showed how the updated cross could look – the renders are really impressive. The creation of the new HR-V specialists was inspired by the image of the Honda Insight sedan.
The new cross gets the same grille with three horizontal stripes, narrowed running lights and the same pattern of rims. In the back, we note the stylish design of the lamps, as well as the original frame of the brand logo. In general, the HR-V got a more sporty and aggressive look, which makes it a little closer to the Honda CR-V crossover.
There are no technical details about the new product right now. In the US market, the Honda HR-V is equipped with a 1.8-liter engine with a return of 141 hp, and in the European car market, the crossover relies on a turbo engine capable of delivering 180 hp
It is possible that the turbocharged version will not reach the United States, however, the hybrid installation may go from the Insight model. In this case, the car will receive a total return of 151 hp. Expect the appearance of the new Honda HR-V in the next 1-2 years.
Meanwhile, the Honda Breeze crossover continues to be in high demand. In the first half of the year it was bought more than 55,000 times.
