The network showed an improved Volkswagen Golf GTI 2021March 25, 2020
An independent designer revised the exterior of the novelty, changing some elements.
Some time ago, a German company showed the world a new generation of “charged” Volkswagen Golf GTI hatchback, however, the public accepted the model ambiguously. In particular, many did not like the front of the car, which, according to the townsfolk, looks worse than the previous model.
On the eve of the web appeared renderings of the next generation Volkswagen Golf GTI, which was presented by independent artist The Sketch Monkey. The most obvious change in this rendering is getting rid of the checkered flag lights at the bottom of the front panel. Instead, there are LED strips.
According to this artist, the grille and headlights are not suitable for the new GTI. He thinks that they are located at an unsuccessful angle between the hood and the bumper and in the presented image he changed their position, like R32.
Also in the pictures, the “hot” hatch received multi-spoke wheels from the R32. At the very rear, the bottom of the hatchback is flatter, giving the car a more traditional look.
In Europe, the new GTI has a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine that develops 241 horsepower and 370 Newton meters of torque. Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
