The network showed a photo of the interior of the new Hyundai TucsonMay 3, 2020
Photospies managed to catch a car and take pictures of the interior of the fourth-generation Tucson prototype.
South Korean edition of TheKoreanCarBlog presented pictures of the interior of the new Hyundai Tucson. The interior was surprised by the front panel device – the design of the cluster of the multimedia complex and the climate control unit is very different from other models of the Kia-Hyundai group.
On most modern Hyundai cars, the dashboard and multimedia display are on the same level, and the climate system has the ability to adjust the washer. The new Tucson demonstrates a completely different approach: on the fourth generation crossover, the widescreen touch screen of the infotainment complex was registered below the dashboard in a single cluster with a climate control touch unit.
On well-equipped Tucson, we will see a virtual instrument panel with a 10.25-inch screen, the same as the Elantra, however, for standard cars, they will provide classic analog scales that stylize BMW. Between the front panel and the central tunnel there will be a large niche for wireless charging of gadgets, a USB connector, as well as a 12V socket.
If we talk about the technical part of the fourth generation Tucson, then the car will have a completely new 2.5-liter petrol turbo engine of the Theta3 family, which will work together with an 8-band “automatic”. This power plant will be the base for the American car market. In addition, the SUV will receive a rechargeable hybrid version, which is needed to promote the model in Europe.
It seems that the new Tucson will appear at the end of 2020 as a crossover for the 2021 model year, but Hyundai may postpone the presentation until next year due to the negative effects associated with the coronavirus pandemic.
