A 1980 BMW R100 RS motorcycle was shown on the Internet, which was modernized by Dirk Oehlerking of Kingston Customs.
The new project is called Good Ghost and is part of the Phantom line, which already includes bikes such as White and Black Phantom.
The motorcycle is equipped with a two-cylinder BMW engine and an original chassis. By the way, the 21 kg upholstery, gear lever and foot brake were all handmade.
The front of the bike is decorated with a single headlight and large “nostrils” of the radiator grille, as on some current BMW models. In addition, Good Ghost has a leather saddle with integrated sensors. The bike, in particular, has custom features such as a fuel tank and stainless steel exhaust system.
Dirk also provided storage space under the saddle where you can store a bottle of wine and various utensils. In addition, there are two flaps on either side of the rear wheel that hold the toolbox and old cutlery set.
The bike, in particular, has got Metzeler ME wheels, a retro-style taillight, BMW footpegs, YSS shock absorbers and a K&N air filter. As for the power of the bike, it is provided by a 971 cc engine with a capacity of 72 hp.
Speaking of the dimensions of the unique bike, they are as follows: the weight is 179 kg, the length is 272 cm, and the height is 112 cm.It should be emphasized that Good Ghost ordered the Haas Moto Museum in Dallas, where it will be exhibited.
