As the power unit will be used 3.8-liter turbo engine, capable of developing up to 640 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. Although the specifications may change when going into mass production. Regarding its predecessor, the future novelty will be able to accelerate to “hundreds” 0.1 seconds faster (2.5 seconds). The maximum speed will be 329 km / h.
Together with the engine, a proprietary all-wheel drive system and an eight-speed automatic transmission with eight steps will work. Manual transmission is not planned yet. The wheels are of different sizes – 20-inch in front and 21-inch in the rear axle.
Sales should begin next year, but the cost remains unknown. So far, it can be assumed that the price tag for the Porsche 911 Turbo S will range from $ 190,000 to $ 200,000.
Porsche, meanwhile, has patented the design of seats for unmanned vehicles. So far, only schematic images of the novelty are available on the Web, and it is not known whether it will enter the series.
