The Czech brand Skoda will turn the Enyaq iV electric cross into a model family, which will include several SUVs.
One of them will be a coupe-like crossover. Today Autocar agency shared its debut spy photos of the Enyaq coupe-like concept, which was spotted during testing.
The head of the sales and marketing department of the automaker Alain Feyvy confirmed to the agency that new electric cars may appear in Skoda in the near future. As he noted, thanks to the flexibility of the MEB architecture, it becomes easier to solve technical problems, and new electric cars will contribute to the expansion of the brand’s presence in the car market.
The cross-coupe Skoda Enyaq iV should get a revised stern with a more radically “filled up” roof line, other rear pillars with different plastic sidewalls and a short “tail” of the luggage compartment.
The engine lineup and interior design will not change. Although the experts of the publication admit a decrease in the volume of the trunk of an electric cross (currently it reaches 585 liters). As for the date of the premiere of the serial version of the cross-coupe, it may debut as early as next year.
In addition, it was recently noted that the Czech company Skoda began testing the new Fabia. It should be emphasized that the updated model of the Czech brand after a generation change can add in size and get a spacious interior.
