The network presented the most compact and affordable crossover Alfa Romeo StellaMarch 21, 2019
In the framework of the Geneva Motor Show, the company’s representatives made a reservation that they could launch a completely new compact crossover on the market, which would take the place of the MiTo hatchback in the model line of the brand.
In early March 2019, as part of the passing of the international motor show in Geneva, Alfa Romeo showed the concept of the Tonale crossover. It is assumed that the model will occupy a step lower than the current Stelvio. But during the press conference, head of the company Robert Zerby hinted at another crossover model, which will take the place of MiTo in the model lineup.
Despite the fact that there is no information about the future model, independent designer Jesse Difuis offered his own concept of a possible novelty, naming it Stella CUV. And apparently, the professional render demonstrates a very real image, harmoniously fitting into the modern Alfa Romeo line. Moreover, the design of the model, according to experts, will attract a large number of girls drivers due to the smooth lines and a large number of decorative elements.
Whether Alfa will build an entry-level crossover below Tonale or not, we will find out in the next few years. Prior to this, the Italian brand will launch the production version of the Geneva Concept in the second half of 2020.
Meanwhile, Alfa Romeo announced a new Tonale crossover and showed the first sketches. Judging by the first renderer – the car will be very stylish and consistent with the spirit of the times. Let’s hope that the serial version will retain its charm.
