The network presented images of the three-door Volkswagen Arteon Shooting BrakeAugust 20, 2020
Not so long ago, the official premiere of the updated Volkswagen Arteon took place along with its station wagon version, but the designers have already presented the model in the three-door Shooting Brake body.
At the same time, a presentation of the updated model took place a few weeks later. In addition, the German auto giant has unveiled the all-new Arteon Shooting Brake, which arguably looks even better, as well as a hardcore R version available in both sedan and station wagon bodies.
Designer X-Tomi Design decided to imagine what a three-door version of a German station wagon might look like. He took the “charged” version of R as a basis, shortening it somewhat. At the same time, increasing the doorway, which is typical of all three-door models, makes it easier for passengers in the second row to board. This combination gives the “charged” modification of the Arteon Shooting Brake an even sportier look.
Note that due to the lack of doors for second-row passengers, the car has lost its practicality, for which station wagons are so famous. And there is little chance that the automaker will ever release a model in this configuration.
