The network has the first spy shots of the new Mercedes-Benz GLCMay 25, 2020
Mercedes-Benz has already begun testing the new compact crossover GLC. This is also confirmed by the debut spy photos published by Carscoop.
The concept in the photos is heavily disguised, however, apparently, a prototype with a serial body is hidden under camouflage.
Judging by the pictures, the new GLC has become longer, and still has a lower roof line than the current model, and an extended wheelbase. You can also notice that the second generation of the cross (codename X254) has a longer and horizontal hood.
In addition, the headlights and the original wheels of the prototype are likely to appear on the machine, which will fall into the “series”, but the taillights will be different. It is assumed that the novelty will be offered exclusively with electrified power units.
The new GLC will be more technological than the current model, and will receive new driver assistance systems and a modern proprietary multimedia system MBUX. It is expected that the new product will receive a dashboard screen, visually combined with the display of the infotainment complex.
The new generation Mercedes-Benz GLC will be produced at the company in the German Sindelfingen. The debut of new items should take place in 2022.
