The network has spy photos restyled BMW X1 2019October 6, 2018
Soon the updated version of the most compact crossover from the Bavarian concern, the BMW X1, will appear on the market. Now the first spy photos appeared showing changes in the front and rear bumper and optics.
A series of spy photos show an updated version of the BMW X1. The most compact crossover from the Bavarians is preparing to get restyled, and it is already clear that the changes will be minimal. Judging by the camouflage film – only the front part, rear bumper and optics will undergo refinement, however, the model will receive a refreshed image and will be more in line with the spirit of the times.
For the first time, the crossover will update its optics, having received elements with more stringent and angular features of LED running lights. This will make the model more similar to the older brother of the BMW X2. Other details are not very noticeable due to camouflage, but, most likely, the lower part of the bumper will undergo a change, which is typical when restyling BMW cars.
The back also does not change much. Apparently, the rear optics design will change, but the shape will remain the same, the design of the diffuser will also change. Judging by the photo – the socket of the exhaust system will become wider. The rest of the back will remain the same.
The company did not forget about the interior. Judging by the early spy photos – the main change will be a wider display of the multimedia navigation system, and the gear knob will become more angular.
Any serious changes under the hood should not be expected. At least in the European and Russian versions. Perhaps the gasoline version is likely to get a particulate filter to comply with the new WLTP environmental rules.
The official presentation date is not named. But wait for a debut in the framework of the Detroit Motor Show 2019 in January is not worth it – BMW will miss it. The company may be waiting for the March Motor Show in Geneva, but it may hold a presentation at a special event or on the web. Given the minor updates – it’s not long to wait for the presentation
