The network has pictures of an electric BMW iNext crossoverMarch 19, 2019
Some editions published “spy” photos of a prototype of the future BMW iNext electric crossover. This 5: 47 minute video gives us a pretty good idea of the dynamics of the car.
Some time ago, the Bavarian brand BMW introduced a conceptual version of its electric iNext crossover. There is no doubt that the model will not receive all concept chips, including side cameras, instead of mirrors. On the other hand, such features as thin LED lights and a panoramic windshield, as well as the grille (unfortunately), seem to have been transferred to the production model.
The upcoming INext, which may eventually be called an i5, will be the electrical equivalent of today’s BMW X5 in terms of size.
As stated in the older BMW press release, which describes in more detail the development and testing of the electric car, “cold is a problem, first of all, for the electric motor, high-voltage battery and engine cooling system. Test engineers also emphasize the eDrive energy management system. They analyze how extreme negative temperatures affect how the energy storage system recharges, how electricity is transmitted to the electric motor, how the electrical system is supplied with energy and how the heating and air-conditioning systems react. ”
According to representatives of the brand, it will be the most technologically advanced car of the company – it will be shown in 2021. Prior to this, the company will release iX3 and i4 in 2019 and 2020, respectively.
