The network has photos of the BMW X4 with M Performance body kitJune 18, 2018
Automotive publications have access to spy photos, which show a crossover BMW X4 with a package of body kit M Performance. According to preliminary information, the styling package will be available soon.
This is not yet a full-fledged X4 M, but it’s an example of a stylish, compact SUV that received a new BMW M Performance trim. This bodywork package gives the crossover a more sporty look. This package is intended for people who want to get a design from M Perfomance, but do not want to overpay for extra capacity.
The front of the X4 features a completely black grille and completely black air intakes in the front bumper. In addition, the new body kit adds a black strip along the entire side, as well as new patches on the thresholds. Also, the package implies the presence of new light alloy wheels with thin spokes. It is worth noting that the photos show the standard version of xDrive30i, but the rear of the car got a bumper in the style of the M40i.
Unfortunately the photos do not show the interior design. But we can assume that the car will receive proprietary projectors in the door, projecting the company’s emblem on the road during the opening of the door. Also, the car will receive a sports steering wheel, mats from M Perfomance, as well as some decorative elements made of carbon fiber.
The new crossover BMW X4 will go on sale in July 2018 in the US market. The xDrive30i version will be equipped with a two-liter turbo engine with a maximum output of up to 248 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. Also, the top version of the M40i will be offered, which will be equipped with a 3.0 liter engine with a power of up to 355 hp and 495 Nm of torque.
The extreme version of the BMW X4 M is already under development, and is expected to receive a six-cylinder bi-turbo engine 3.0 liter engine, which will have a capacity of at least 470 horsepower. But now there is still no information about the date of the debut of the most powerful version.
Meanwhile, the network presented a BMW 8-Series renderer in the Shooting-Brake body, which will never appear in mass production.
