The network got the first images of the new low-cost crossover RenaultJanuary 20, 2020
The French automaker is preparing to launch its new budget crossover, known as the HBC. The day before, the first image of a SUV without camouflage appeared on the Web.
Photos of Renault HBC got on the Web before that, however, in all these spy shots, the crossover was reliably hidden from prying eyes by camouflage film. It was these photos that helped the designers of the Indianautosblog portal create a render of the future news. This car gets the original grille, black exterior decor and a two-tier head optics. In the upper part we see elegant LED sections that cope with the function of direction indicators and DRLs, under them are blocks of the main optics.
As for the interior, it seems that the Renault HBC interior will be designed in the style of the Renault Triber compact van with the difference that the new product will receive a modified front panel with a “floating” multimedia touchscreen. The crossover is based on the modernized Renault Triber CMF-A platform, and its length does not exceed four meters.
Under the hood of the “state employee” is a liter turbo engine that produces 95 horsepower. It can be combined with a five-speed manual gearbox or “robot”. About all-wheel drive is not even a surcharge.
Renault is promised a new product at the beginning of February at the Auto Expo in New Delhi. Local-made crossovers will reach dealerships in the middle of this year, and by the end of 2020, Renault HBC will receive the status of a global model, expanding the geography of sales.
