The network got photos of the Audi E-Tron Sportback without camouflageOctober 12, 2019
The pictures show that the new electric car from Audi is completely ready for mass production. Its premiere will take place on November 19 at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
On the eve of the photo spies managed to take pictures of the electric car Audi e-tron Sportback. The car went on road tests almost without camouflage – only headlights and part of the rear side windows were hidden from prying eyes with a special tape. But the general concept of the machine was able to consider in detail. Already from the name of the model it was clear that the car would be similar to the E-Tron, but in the style of the now popular coupe crossovers. A design feature is the sloping roof line, which changes the design of the rear of the car and the rear side windows. The front of the electric car looks almost like an Audi E-Tron in an off-road performance.
Another design feature is the side rear-view cameras instead of classic mirrors – such a solution will definitely be applied to the European market.
The engine of the new E-Tron Sportback will be the same as the off-road performance. This is a fully electric power plant consisting of two engines. The total power will be 355 hp. The car also has a special mode of increasing power. When using it, the output of the power plant briefly increases to 402 horses, which allows the car to accelerate to 96 km / h in 5.5 seconds. Cruising range without recharging will be a modest 348 kilometers. However, the battery has the ability to quickly charge – after 10 minutes of recharging, you can drive 87 km.
Audi recently talked about the electric versions of the Q7 crossover and the A8 sedan. Externally, cars look almost the same as serial gasoline options.
