The network announced the details of the electric Hyundai 45 EVJune 14, 2020
Carscoops reported details about the electric Hyundai 45 EV and published its render.
This electric car will be the debut model of the Korean brand, which will be built on a completely new global platform E-GMP, and it will adhere to the style set by the prototype 45 Concept, which debuted last year at the Frankfurt auto show.
Judging by the image, the model from the profile resembles the Audi A1, but with a detailed examination, you can notice elements from the aforementioned concept. The production version of the Hyundai 45 EV, in particular, will get rid of the sliding front and rear doors, and also get the classic side mirrors.
The front part of the new electric car corresponds to what the South Korean company calls the design of the “kinetic cubic lamp”, in addition, parts from the prototype Pony Coupe are used here.
In addition, the novelty will have hidden door handles, short overhangs, a low silhouette and ground clearance, which is lower than that of a standard crossover. Behind the expected appearance of cuboid LED taillights and a toothed lower bumper.
In the interior of the Hyundai 45 EV, a dashboard with a large touch screen should appear, which combines the functions of a combination of devices and a multimedia system. The interior, which will be executed in a minimalist style, is trimmed with artificial leather.
The new electric car will also be equipped with front seats with heating and ventilation, wireless charging, Apple CarPlay, the ability to connect to WiFi and a large monitor. In the list of driver assistance systems will appear automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assistance, assistance in safe driving and much more.
The new model will be equipped with two electric motors, one on each axis. On one charge, an electric car can travel up to 500 km. In addition, the Hyundai 45 EV should receive a battery pack with a capacity of 75 – 100 kW / h.
The new electric car from the Korean brand should compete with such cars as the Tesla Model Y, Ford Mustang Mach-E, Volkswagen ID.4 and Skoda Enyaq. It is assumed that the presentation of the Hyundai 45 EV will take place this year, and its sales will begin at the beginning of 2021.
