The most “sweet” accident of the year: a truck with Nutella rolled over on the highwaySeptember 19, 2019
The car transported about 20 thousand kilograms of chocolate paste
An accident occurred on the highway in the US state of Indiana, which can be considered the “sweetest” in recent years – a truck turned over that transported about 20 thousand kilograms of Nutella chocolate paste.
As the state police told the Detroit Free Press, the car that was driving in front of the truck braked sharply, forcing the truck driver to hit the brakes as well. As a result, she skidded and, hitting a concrete fence, she fell over, completely blocking all the lanes in her direction.
The police had to stop the movement of cars on the highway for two and a half hours, while eliminating the consequences of the accident. The driver was not injured as a result of the accident, but the sweet cargo will be sent to the scrap – a gas tank hit the truck and about 150 liters of diesel spilled onto the highway.
In early August, another accident occurred in Germany with the participation of a truck that transported boxes of beer. When loading, they were not properly secured, and when the truck driver drove off the track, the bottles flew out of the body. In total, 10,000 bottles were affected, and about six hours were spent on eliminating the accident.
