Skoda has introduced a police version of its most powerful and fast crossover – Kodiaq RS. A novelty prepared for law enforcement in the UK was called the “perfect patrol car.”
The crossover received a proprietary police livery, a circular LED backlight that provides 360-degree visibility, as well as flashing beacons and a siren for 100 amps.
In the salon of the novelty, created on the basis of the seven-seater version of the crossover, installed sports seats, covered with Alcantara. The driver has a fully digital Virtual Cockpit dashboard with a diagonal of 10.25 inches and an infotainment complex with the function of integration with SmartLink + smartphones.
“Charged” crossover is equipped with a diesel engine with two turbines, which develops 240 hp and 500 Nm of torque. This is the most powerful diesel engine ever created at the brand’s factory in the Czech Mlada Boleslav.
The engine is worked with a seven-speed robotized gearbox and all-wheel drive. Skoda Kodiaq RS is able to gain the first 100 km/h in 7 seconds, and its maximum speed was 219 km per hour.
