The most powerful Mercedes-AMG GT73e photographed on tests in the new liveryApril 25, 2021
The most powerful production car Mercedes has once again hit the lens of spy cameras, but in a completely different form. The hybrid four-door prototype went to road tests in a stylish new “wrapper”.
A prototype of the Mercedes-AMG GT73e hybrid model was photographed near the Mercedes-Benz test center at the Nurburgring. The car parted with the old monochrome camouflage, trying on a new livery in black, gray and red tones.
Mercedes-AMG quite often “dresses” its cars in interesting “wrappers”, and the fans of the brand then wonder what this might mean. This was the case with the Project One hypercar.
The new AMG GT73e will receive an 804-horsepower twin-turbo V8 with a four-liter hybrid drive. By comparison, the GT 63 S only makes 630 horsepower.
The revamped AMG GT 4-door coupe lineup, including the AMG GT73e, is likely to arrive in the second half of 2021 as a 2022 model.
By then, we’ll know more about the interesting details, including the final design. In general, experts predict a bright future for electrified Mercedes-AMG models.
Meanwhile, it became known that Ford is testing a unique technology for night lighting. An intelligent headlight will be able to predict the situation, highlighting the necessary corners and turns in advance.
