Opel presented an updated version of the compact crossover Opel Crossland. After the restyling, the model lost the letter “X” in the name, tried on the new corporate design of Vizor and acquired modernized electronics.

Opel is going to bring a new compact crossover Opel Crossland to Russia next year.

The novelty will receive a new corporate identity Vizor, first presented on the new Opel Mokka. Cars with a new design receive an original front end: a large logo in the center, a fundamentally different design of the radiator grille, combined with new optics, etc. At the same time, there is more chrome in the exterior of the car, and redesigned bumpers added brutality to the crossover.

Opel was not limited to one appearance. The restyled Crossland was equipped with an improved chassis and IntelliGrip adaptive traction control system (offers five driving modes).

The automaker also upgraded the steering and prepared a new decor for the compact cross in the sporty spirit of the GS Line +. In addition, the new cross gets three multimedia options and a richer list of driver assistants.

In addition, chrome side skirts, a set of new wheels, as well as the GS Line + pseudo-sport equipment with black and red accents and ergonomic seats are now available for the model. By the way, speaking of the cabin – depending on the configuration, the Crossland is equipped with three multimedia systems: Radio BT, Multimedia Radio or Multimedia Navi Pro. The older ones are compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The dimensions of the car are the same: the length is 4212 mm, the width is 1764 mm, and the height is 1588 mm. Trunk volume – from 410 to 1255 liters.

The equipment of the model includes, among other things, a rear-view camera, advanced parking assistance, pedestrian detection and auto-braking, traffic sign recognition and lane departure warning, and blind spot monitoring.

Finally, Crossland improved handling and re-tuned chassis. But the engines are those that were before: a 1.2-liter engine with 83 hp, a 1.2-liter turbodiesel with 130 hp, as well as a 1.5-liter turbodiesel in 110 and 120 versions. h.p. (the younger “diesel” has slightly increased power). Opel Crossland 2021 will go on sale in early 2021.

Meanwhile, a limited edition Ford Fiesta ST Edition entered the European market. In total, the Americans are going to produce 500 cars in this design. The largest quota will go to Great Britain. You can recognize a car from the special series by its sky-blue body color.
