Department Q by Aston Martin has released a collection of 24 supercars DBS 59
The Q by Aston Martin exclusive projects department developed a limited edition DBS Superleggera series called DBS 59 by the dealership of the brand from Cambridge. The collection of 24 cars was dedicated to the victory of the Aston Martin DBR1 in the 2459 Le Mans 1959. Supercars are distinguished by body color, interior decoration materials and details painted in bronze.
To identify the DBS Superleggera from the special series, you can use the body painted in green Racing Green and the elements of carbon fiber with a glossy finish. Carbon made roof, splitter and rear spoiler. Emblems and grille trim radiators painted in bronze. Salon DBS 59 is a combination of black and brown leather, as well as the material, repeating the upholstery of the original DBR1. It is used to finish the doors and seats.
Behind the seats are compartments for storing helmets, gloves and racing suits. Other features include the DBS 59 logos on the headrests and the serial number of the car in the series on the front fender, vintage-style gloves, a replica of a racing helmet from 1959, a set of two pieces of luggage and an autocover in the color of the car.
Under the hood, the Aston Martin DBS 59 is still equipped with a turbocharged 5.2-liter V12 engine with a power of 725 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque. Gearbox – eight-speed automatic ZF. From the place up to 60 miles per hour (97 kilometers per hour) the supercar accelerates in 3.4 seconds. The maximum speed of the car is 342 kilometers per hour.
