The launch date for the successor to the Great Wall Hover became knownJune 22, 2020
Also, representatives of the Chinese brand declassified the name of the model. Previously, the car was known only by the factory index B06.
Recently, the Chinese Great Wall has been providing more and more information regarding its new crossover. Initially, we saw a teaser of a brutal car with large round headlights, then patent images were published in which, among other things, the new product was assigned the B06 index. Finally, last week the first “live” photos of the car appeared. Now the date of the start of sales has been published – dealers will begin selling the car in August.
The name of the car is also made public – Haval Da gou, which means “Big Dog”. Compared with the successor, the car has changed dramatically – we note the presence of a new platform and a large number of modern technical solutions. Haval Da gou is 4,620 mm long with a wheelbase of 2,738 mm. From the exterior, it is worth highlighting a square silhouette, round headlights and the original shape of the taillights. The biggest surprise awaits customers in the interior – the multimedia system received a rounded screen, and the digital dashboard has a visor, which has not been seen before. The developers also equipped the novelty with a swivel washer instead of the classic gearshift lever.
As a power plant for non-alternative work, a 1.5-liter engine with a return of 169 hp will be used, working in tandem with a 7-band “robot”.
In the maximum configuration Haval Da gou will receive all-wheel drive. Prices for the novelty are kept secret.
