The presentation of the MG Hector Plus car took place in early February at the Auto Expo in India.
Today it became known when the luxury MG Hector, an analogue of the American crossover Chevrolet Captiva from General Motors, goes on sale. Official dealers of the brand will receive serial copies this summer. The assembly of the car was established at the Indian factory in the city of Halol GM. The cost of the car will be announced closer to the start of sales, however, according to preliminary data, the basic version will cost 1.7 million rupees.
The new version has a 6-seater layout of the cabin – thus, passengers can comfortably accommodate both the second and third row of seats. The car interior is made of expensive materials – leather is used to trim the interior. Front mounted a large 10.4-inch screen multimedia complex.
The engine range of the car consists of two power units – they became a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a return of 150 hp, as well as a 2.0-liter diesel engine that can produce 170 hp
The gasoline engine works with a 6-speed manual transmission or a robotic gearbox, depending on the selected equipment, and the diesel engine relies only on manual transmission. Drive – front on a non-alternative basis. Of the technical equipment, we note the adaptive cruise control system with the possibility of recognizing road signs, the function of monitoring blind spots, all-round cameras and a panoramic roof in the maximum configuration.
