The last serial Bugatti Veyron Super Sport will be sold at auctionJune 15, 2018
At the Festival of Speed in British Goodwood, which will be held in mid-July, the last serial Bugatti Veyron Super Sport will be auctioned at the auction house Bonhams. For the car it is planned to gain about 1,7-1,8 million pounds sterling
The supercar is painted in black matte color, and the interior is decorated with red leather. The mileage of the car is 550 miles (885 kilometers). The car had one owner who traveled to the Veyron in the UK. In total, only 30 cars were produced in the Super Sport modification and this one was the last one, which came off the assembly line.
The car is equipped with an eight-liter W16 engine with four turbines, developing 1200 horsepower. In 2010, the modification of Super Sport set a speed record – 431 kilometers per hour.
At the same time for commodity Veyron the maximum speed is limited to 415 kilometers per hour – in order to protect the tires from destruction. Because of this restriction, the Guinness Book of Records later deprived the model of the title of the fastest car – to establish achievement it was necessary to use a fully-mass-produced car.
In addition to the Veyron, the Bonhams will be exhibiting the Aston Martin One-77 Q-Series, McLaren P1 with a run of 128 kilometers, as well as the classic Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato 1961 model and the Alfa Romeo Tipo B Grand Prix Monoposto 1932.
