The company Dodge decided to sell the latest released copies of the Challenger SRT Demon coupe and supercar Viper at the auction house Barrett-Jackson. Money from the sale of cars will go to charity.
Both cars are painted red, called Viper Red. The approximate cost of a set of two cars is not yet called. Bidding will be held in mid-June. The minimum cost of the Demon from the dealer in the US is $ 84,995, while the Viper cost 95,800 dollars before the removal from production.
The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon coupe debuted in April 2017. Under the hood of the car is installed 850-horsepower engine 6.2 V8 with a drive supercharger. From the place to 96 kilometers per hour the oil-car accelerates in 2.1 seconds. The model is also equipped with drag tires, a set of tools and is not equipped with passenger seats. In total, the Dodge released 3300 Demons.
Production of the Dodge Viper ceased in August 2017. The model was removed from the assembly line due to new requirements for safety of cars in the US, which the supercar does not match. The plant on which the model was manufactured will be turned into a storage of cars.
