The interior of the new Nissan Qashqai was shown in the photoSeptember 8, 2020
The new generation Nissan Qashqai, whose debut was postponed due to the coronavirus, was once again captured on tests. Moreover, the spies managed to get so close to the tested crossover that they filmed the interior of the novelty.
Judging by the pictures, the interior architecture of the bestseller was borrowed from the “older” Nissan Rogue, the new generation of which debuted only in June. Inside, we see a fully digital instrument panel in an angular frame and a floating touchscreen of the multimedia complex with two washers and a row of buttons. The air deflectors on the center tunnel, the gear lever and the steering wheel are also identical on the models.
Recall that the current Nissan Qashqai, manufactured in the UK, is one of the most popular Japanese cars in the world and one of the best-selling models in its segment. It is particularly successful in Europe, where it has been the brand’s bestseller for many years.
The new Qashqai is expected to maintain its size, using Nissan’s latest design language with a more angular styling similar to the new Juke. The photographs allow us to distinguish parts of the V-shaped radiator grille and smooth headlights.
The all-new Qashqai will be based on the latest evolution of the CMF-C / D platform. Expect turbocharged petrol engines with a 48-volt mild hybrid system, an e-Power range-extender EV powertrain and a plug-in hybrid variant from Mitsubishi. Diesel units are likely to leave the engine range.
