KIA Sorento 2020 continues to grow in visual detail. Spy photos get to the Web regularly, and with each new snapshot of questions there are less and less.
On the eve of thekoreancarblog.com portal shared new pictures of the KIA Sorento 2020 salon. Interior photos have appeared on the Web before, however, in the latest images, the Korean novelty has almost lost its camouflage. Thanks to this, we can notice that in the interior of the fourth generation Sorento there are separate elements from the new Optima: digital electronics, rotary gearshift controls, etc. The interior of the car uses leather trim with contrasting accents and a spectacular stitching in the form of an extended hexagon.
The appearance of the crossover is made in the new corporate style “tiger mask”, already tested on the same Optima and KIA Telluride SUV. With the change of generation, Sorento will become more angular and acquire sophisticated optics.
The debut of the new generation crossover is promised to be organized before the end of this year. The spy shots captured Sorento SV, which will appear as a model of Sorento 2020 in the American car market. It will be a total upgrade of the car, not ordinary restyling. There are few technical details. Hybrid modifications of the Hybrid & Plug-in Hybrid are expected, where the Solar Panels charging system on the roof, like the Hyundai Sonata, can be used. However, there are no details yet.
Recall that the solar panel is mounted in the roof of the Sonata sedan: it recharges the traction batteries and provides up to 1,300 kilometers of additional mileage annually. It is also reported that the KIA Sorento 2020 model will receive engines from the Smartstream family.
