The interior of the new electric crossover Skoda unveiled before the premiereFebruary 20, 2019
The Czech company is actively preparing for the debut of a completely new model, and the first in the history of its own electric car. As part of an extensive campaign, a render of the interior was presented.
The conceptual electric crossover Skoda Vision iV will be presented in early March at the Geneva Motor Show. The model will be based on the new modular platform MEB (Modular Electric Kit), designed specifically for electrified models. Now the press service has published a render of the interior of the future news.
Judging by the image, the model will receive a completely new concept of interior design with a small dashboard display and a huge screen of a multimedia information system that will serve as the main control panel for crossover systems. Of course, the render is far from serial execution; now we can note several features, including two pockets for wireless charging of smartphones.
Unfortunately, the company does not yet disclose the details of the power plant, as well as the dynamic and running performance of the electric vehicle. It can be assumed, based on the concept of Skoda Vision E, the power of the car will be about 300 horsepower. Cruising will be about 500 kilometers, and the maximum speed will limit the electronics at around 180 km / h.
Skoda Vision iV will be the first sign in the company’s extensive plans, which involve the release of about 10 electric models until 2022, as well as an investment of about 2 billion euros.
