The interior of passenger capsules Hyperloop showed in DubaiFebruary 28, 2018
Virgin Hyperloop One, together with the Dubai Road and Transportation Authority, introduced the interior of high-speed passenger capsules. The presentation was part of the “Month of Innovations of the UAE” in the shopping center City Walk.
Inside the capsule, chairs with leather trim will be installed. Information and entertainment complexes will be available for passengers.
Trains with an electromagnetic power plant will run between Abu Dhabi and Dubai – a journey of 140 km takes only 12 minutes. At an hour, the Hyperlup will be able to carry up to 10,000 passengers.
By 2021, Virgin Hyperloop One intends to put into commercial operation three lines of “vacuum” trains.
In the spring of 2017, Hyperloop One conducted the first test of a passenger capsule XP-1. Due to magnetic levitation, the cart broke off from the rails for 5.3 seconds and was able to accelerate to 112 kilometers per hour. In summer, the speed was raised to 310, and in December – to 387 kilometers per hour. It is expected that with the initial parameters of the system, the trains can accelerate to 1000-1200 kilometers per hour.
In November 2017, the startup Arrivo, founded by former technical director of Hyperloop One, Brogan Bambrogan, introduced the concept of high-speed highway. Using special platforms, passengers and cargo can be carried by magnetic levitation on such roads at speeds up to 320 kilometers per hour.
