The insanely powerful McLaren 750LT will soon replace the 675LTSeptember 1, 2019
British company McLaren is preparing a new supercar that can create competition even in the hypercar class. This is the most promising supercar to date.
After the release of the McLaren 720S, only two years have passed, but the company is already releasing the LT version of the supercar.
The racing car is equipped with a new aerodynamic kit, frame and a recessed front splitter.
These items will be installed on serial versions. The specimens are expected to have a large rear diffuser and an extended active spoiler.
The company plans to begin production of 750LT supercars in 2020. The name of the new model has not yet been confirmed, but we can assume, given how they are invented by McLaren. Therefore, we will take past models and increase the power of the 4.0-liter V8 engine from 720 to 750 horsepower and get the new McLaren 750LT
It is also planned to revise the power plant, including updating the gearbox. A seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission will be installed so gear shifts take even less time. They will deliver a louder exhaust, as well as engineers completely reconfigure the hydraulic suspension of the supercar.
The LT update also includes the weight reduction achieved by the modified trim and ultra-lightweight carbon racing seats. It is expected that the updated model will borrow some tricks from Senna.
