The iconic SUV Chevrolet Blazer K5 put up for auctionOctober 20, 2020
Before getting to the auction, the car was thoroughly restored. The last owner of this Blazer K5 bought it in 2018.
Fans of iconic American SUVs will definitely appreciate one of the “lots” put up for auction by the auction house Bring A Trailer. This is a 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer. Recall that this model debuted back in 1969 and was positioned as a competitor to the Ford Bronco. The novelty immediately won the sympathy of buyers, and over the years it has become a real “classic”.
The name Blazer, by the way, can still be found at General Motors: however, the current car is not at all like its predecessor. It is known that the Chevrolet Blazer K5 put up for sale had to be restored: repairs were required to the engine, chassis and separable suspension components. The motor was also brought to mind.
Also, the car received a stylish body color: a combination of orange and white colors.
The image is complemented by retouched bumpers, neat mirrors, classic headlights, as well as a removable hard roof.
In addition, the Blazer gets 15-inch wheels with 33-inch heavy-duty off-road tires.
The interior of the restored SUV is different from the interior that was here 48 years ago. The Blazer K5 now has new carpets and new black vinyl seat covers.
Earlier it became known that a very compact car Aston Martin Cygnet will be sold at the auction. The car was designed to meet the new emissions regulations.
